FLU pandemic across the UK could result in "1,000 September 11ths" and the preparations are "woefully inadequate", doctors are being warned.
Dr Steve Hajioff will tell the British Medical Association's annual conference tomorrow that stockpiling anti-viral drugs is less important than getting transport, fuel and water companies to make plans for a flu pandemic.
