A Macedonian was admitted to the hospital with fever and is being tested for bird flu because he keeps pigeons. He was placed in the intensive care unit of the infectious diseased ward. He has a high temperature and signs of pneumonia. Thus far, Macedonia has not has a confirmed case of bird flu in tame or wild fowl or poultry but it has been found in all of its Balkan neighbors.
