US warns against Saudi bird flu
AME Info (Middle East)
June 26, 2006

The US Embassy in Saudi Arabia has warned its citizens to monitor any possible outbreak of bird flu, although Saudi authorities have denied that there have been any avian flu cases among humans, reported Gulf News. The embassy stated that five falcons were found to have the H5 virus and that tests were being carried out to see if they had the N1 strain, which is of concern to humans.
